Palimpshed

In my edition of the Palimpshed, a “slowly developing palimpsest evolved by artists who reference and leave traces of one another's work” (Terese Mulin), I reimagine a quilt painted by Abbey Bennet into Alberta’s rolling prairies dotted with farms, towns and cities. Exploring both urban and rural spaces, my Palimpshed mural was and a love letter to my travels throughout Alberta that defined my post-secondary experience. Special thanks to Gabriella Fyfe for their assistance. Visit Instagram for process and close-up photos.
